Terms and Conditions
- You may only apply for a single free jigsaw for a single web domain. If you own multiple domain names, you may apply for a single jigsaw for each domain.
- The image you supply must either be a) out of copyright, b) your own picture or c) one where you have the permission of the copyright holder to use the image on your website.
- We reserve the right not to create a jigsaw game where we consider the image to be unsuitable. This is at our discretion and we don’t need to offer a reason for rejection. You may offer an alternate image if you wish.
- The final image size will be 496 x 396 pixels and the overall size of the game will be 800 x 600 pixels.
- We suggest you prepare your image at 496 x 396 resolution. We will accept images at other resolutions, but you will need to accept our cropping / resizing decisions. If you send us an image at 496 x 396, you know how it’s going to look !
- The image format we would prefer is .png as this ensures the highest quality in the finished jigsaw. If you cannot supply in .png, we can accept pretty much any other image format.
- You will receive an email with an .html page, a .swf file (the actual game) that will allow you to publish the game on your website.
- You are responsible for getting the game to work on your website. We can offer advice and guidance, but cannot promise to resolve all problems.
- You may publish the game on as many pages on your site as you wish. There are no restrictions on how long you may use it, and no restrictions on how many games are played.
- The game may take a few seconds to load into a browser. During this time there is a ‘percentage loaded’ screen showing. This screen also tells your visitor who wrote the software (us!).
- The address to apply for a free jigsaw game is www.quizengine.co.uk/jigsaws
- We reserve the right to withdraw this free offer at any time.
- Oh, and if you have one of those Apple thingies - sorry, but Steve Jobs says you can't play.
